Tonight we met as a seminary council as a hello goodbye, to say hello to the new council for next year and goodbye to the (current, it's not quite over yet). We had a delicious bbq and then Jackie, me, and Brynn from the new council jumped our hearts out on the trampoline. We gave the new council advice and the wonderful opportunities that they will have.
I'll just say it was very hard to say goodbye. Despite our differences, we have grown close together and have learned a lot over this past year as our testimonies have strengthened and as we have relied on each other. Although it's been hard at times to go to early morning meetings and keep up with responsibilities, we will never forget how helping out the seminary students and the students at Brighton by striving to be good examples and sharing our testimonies has helped us become closer to not only each other, but to our Father in Heaven. Once Stacey gave the closing prayer and started tearing up, the rest of us found tears streaming down. We embraced each other and took pictures, reminding ourselves we still have one more week left. I love them all so much and will never forget how we have impacted each others lives.
